Umbrella had some very special guests visit Foundation House today.
Minister of Social Development and Poverty Reduction, Nicholas Simons and MLA of Victoria Beacon Hill Grace Lore joined
Erik, Umbrella’s Supportive Recovery Housing Coordinator and our ED, Sharlene and some Foundation House residents to learn more about our housing program and Umbrella services.
The meeting went really well and our guests left filled with hope and inspiration, in fact on his way out Minister Simons said “What a great way to start a Monday”!
It was an honour for Umbrella to show off this important community resource and highlight the great work being done in our community.
