Last week, Evan and Rebecca had the honor of delivering their fourth presentation of the year to the Grade 12 students at Stelly’s Secondary School.
The school’s Health and Wellness Day program, which has run throughout the year, featured a variety of topics, from gambling awareness, health and nutrition to gang recruitment awareness.
We were proud to be part of this important initiative alongside medical professionals and other organizations.
The feedback from faculty and students was incredibly positive, with many noting that our session—focused on the Umbrella Society and sharing our personal stories—was the most engaging.
Students left the presentation feeling empowered, knowing who to reach out to and how to get help for themselves or a loved one who needs it.
We’ve already received requests for our services, and we couldn’t be more thrilled and humbled.
We can’t wait to return in the fall!
