Tonight staff, residents and alumni all piled into the yard at Foundation House to give Erik a proper send off.
We had 14 large pizzas, a huge slab ice cream cake and some Erik trivia, which was actually a bit of an Erik roast!
Staff shared stories of Erik when he first arrived at the house many years ago and residents shared how much of an impact Erik has had on their lives.
Erik has been on parental leave and has his second child coming next week and will not be returning to Umbrella.
The gratitude, admiration, and thanks that was conveyed was heartfelt and touching; he will genuinely be missed.
We are excited to meet his new little one and keep watching Erik and his family grow.
Zack is taking over as housing manager and is ready to step into Erik’s big shoes.
A fun night had by all!
