On Tuesday, Umbrella hosted the 8th annual Mental Health and Substance Use Advisory Committee awards at our office.
These important awards highlight the good work of our community members and organizations while celebrating those who work and support others in the MHSU field.
Island Health Manager John Braun and Island Health Board Chair Leah Hollins both presented the awards to the
Imagine Cafe and Community Led Crisis Response Team.
Sharlene has been a member of this committee for over 10 years and brings the voice of recovery and substance use to the committee meetings.
