Last night the housing staff and residents celebrated being Foundation House homeowners for 4 years.
To be clear, F-H0use is much older than 4, but it has been 4 years since Umbrella purchased the house.
Umbrella began operating Foundation House in April 2015, and was thrilled when the owner approached us about purchasing the house. With some very successful fundraising events and incredibly generous donations, we were able to raise more than enough for our down payment!
We are always working on adding more housing to our recovery housing portfolio.
I hope that we will be celebrating many more anniversaries of Umbrella purchasing housing in years to come.
