These are special F$CK’n washcloths…

Inspired during a long weekend trail run (as one typically is), Jen Harrison and Silvia Fehr were struck with a bold and somewhat non-conventional fundraising idea.

“Let’s knit and sell washcloths with scientifically placed extra raised ridges to enhance the cloth’s scrubbing performance and donate the proceeds to Umbrella Society!”

With that, these lovely women then spent numerous hours researching and developing these high-performance kitted washcloths with the scientifically placed extra ridges. We know, we know….It looks like the word F$CK, but rest assured, it’s where the science said to place the extra raised ridges. What an interesting coincidence…

You know what else is interesting? These little F$CK’n washcloths have raised nearly $1000, making them very, very special! That also makes Umbrella Society incredibly grateful for the efforts of Jennifer and Silvia and all the CHAMPION local knitters who clearly give a F$CK and continue in support of Umbrella’s programs and services. (They are always seeking more knitters; it would be brilliant to keep this effort going.)

A massive thank you to Jennifer, Silvia, and the team of Champion local knitters. We love your science, and we love these F$CK’n washcloths!
