Appreciation Gathering for Gordon Harper on Monday January 15, 2018
Please drop in anytime between 4:30 to 6:15 at Christ Church Cathedral, corner of Quadra and Burdett Streets [follow the signs at the Burdett Street entrance]
In 2000, Gordon Harper founded and guided the growth of the Umbrella Society. Late last year, Gordon retired and Umbrella continues to provide services to people in greater Victoria for whom substance use is a problem.
The Board of Umbrella and Gordon want to recognize that work and growth, and share stories in an informal gathering. Gordon and members of the Umbrella Board will circulate during the event, and will say a few words around 5:15. There will be coffee/tea and finger foods.
Please spread the word about the gathering with those who have engaged with Umbrella, or who have been or are affected by substance use. There is no need to RVSP – just come!!
