Wow. Giving Tuesday.
After the chaos of Black Friday, Cyber Monday, the “Get It Before It’s Gone!”, and the “Limited-Time Only” deals, December 2nd has proven time and again to be just as unifying.
For the 3rd year in a row, GoFundMe has named Victoria, BC as the “Most Generous Community in Canada”. GoFundMe reported that approximately 20% of the population contributed to charity!
Umbrella is one of 91 similar organizations listed under ‘Health & Wellness’* that drives $3.38 billion to our economic activity. Helping our clients to regain stability, independence, and ultimately contribute to the local economy, boosts the individual, the community, the city and the province.
We have the responsibility and passion to keep doing the work we do. Thank you to the most generous community in Canada, the Umbrella Society has far surpassed our goal of raising $10,000!!
