The Victoria Foundation is promoting their annual Random Acts of Kindness Week.
What used to be a day, is now a week, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
The staff have been making sure they are doing additional acts of kindness this week and people are feeling good.
Today, Trevor, Blake and Evan spent a few hours at Uptown sharing dad jokes, giving dad advice and helping people to their cars with bags.
The feedback was great – from dad joke laughter to helping people on escalator down to their cars.
What we didn’t expect was the tears, vulnerability and gratitude from people who have received help from Umbrella,
need help from Umbrella or who have family members that would benefit from our support.
This has been a fun, yet humbling day.
